All Skiguard models have been voluntarily City Crash tested, and approved, at the Technical Research Institute of Sweden. The tests were done per DIN-NORM 75302:2006-05, section 5.9.
The crash tests were conducted under harsher conditions than required by the City Crash standard. We chose to do so simply to prove that our products can withstand the tremendous forces present during an accident. The cargo boxes were loaded with over 165lbs and rammed into a static barrier at 25mph. The cargo remained safely inside the box every time.
